Our foundation is built on providing sound and independent advice. It's crucial that we maintain our autonomy, remain curious and eager to learn about our clients' business processes, and maintain transparent communication.
We also develop services with the principle that IT Security should be accessible to organizations of any size. Our philosophy is that you don't need to be big to make an impact.
The value of our services is often experienced through the speed and effectiveness of our response to security incidents and our business sensitivity in various types of implementations.
What's crucial here is that we know the client organization and understand their business processes. Every organization is different and unique, and we're always willing to invest in understanding these differences.
The Navajo Indians played a crucial role in developing the Navajo code for message encryption on behalf of the American military.
This story inspired us for several reasons - encryption is one of the pillars of confidentiality. Additionally, it fits our philosophy that a relatively small Tribe can have such significant impact. For this reason, we used the Navajo Tribe as inspiration for our name.
During World War II, about 400 Navajo Indians played a role in the Code Talker program. During the invasion of Iwo Jima, 6 Navajo Code Talkers flawlessly transmitted more than 800 tactical messages. President Ronald Reagan declared August 14 as Navajo Code Talkers Day. In July 2001, President George W. Bush presented the Congressional Gold Medal to the 4 remaining Navajo Code Talkers.
Interest in and deep understanding of the client's business processes, organization, and culture is a fundamental principle of our service. In our view, knowing and protecting an organization's value always requires a customized approach. Seamlessly aligning our management processes with those of the client organization is crucial for providing rapid and adequate response.
Interest in and deep understanding of the latest security trends, discovered vulnerabilities, and developments within specific security domains is the common thread throughout our Tribe. Sharing this curiosity is a fundamental principle. Knowledge sessions, lab sessions, and hackathons are regularly organized for this purpose.
Interest and the desire to further develop oneself is an ongoing process within the Navaio Tribe. Helping each other in this journey is a key principle. To facilitate this, we have a Tech Lab environment that every employee can access. We also regularly organize certification programs, and our junior employees always start in the Navaio Academy with our self-developed curriculum.
